Developers Source Kit

A Developers Source Kit is available for users who would like to make changes to ALERE Accounting or ALERE Manufacturing in order to fit their particular needs. The kit provides multiple levels of customization. Often special requirements can be accomplished with little or no coding!

The Developers Source Kit includes:

A Technical Manual that provides:

- Basic modifications using hooks
- Menu modifications
- Report modifications
- Form modifications
- Callable functions
- Extensive examples
- Diagrams of procedures
- Appendices containing technical references
A CD that installs:
- Forms
- Templates
- Sample programs
- Program files

The ALERE Accounting or ALERE Manufacturing Developers Source Kit may be purchased from your Dealer. Pricing information on TIW products can be found on the individual product Pricing Pages.

Object Oriented Programming, or OOP as it is commonly known, is a key underpinning of TIW products.

TIW uses the standard tool sets in Microsoft Visual FoxPro to make modifications easy.

IMPORTANT

ALERE Accounting and ALERE Manufacturing have been carefully designed to include a layer in the architecture where all changes made by the developer or user can be placed. This method minimizes the impact of product upgrades and thus preserves the investment made in the changes.

Another layer in the architecture is reserved for TIW patches between releases. These patches can be down loaded from our home page and always contain all current modifications.
